Please note that for your submission to be considered for acceptance, it will undergo a review process conducted by a native specialist fluent in the language of the submission.

Furthermore, all abstracts must be written in the same language as the main body of the text, and should be provided in either Spanish or English at minimum.

Sending originals

The authors will send the journal the file of their article completely adapted to the template provided.

TEMPLATE

Download template for authors

The recommended length of the texts will depend on the section to which it is intended and the number of collaborations in each monograph. Approximately:

Research articles may have up to 40,000 characters (including spaces and footnotes).

All other contributions will have between 18,000 and 25,000 characters (including spaces and footnotes).

In all cases, the specific length of each contribution will be determined by the publisher of each issue.

Acceptance and revision of the originals

To participate in the International Journal of Health and Music (IJHM), authors must submit their originals on our Journal platform. For each number, a Call for papers will be established according to the specific theme planned. However, the call will be open permanently.

The Editorial Board will carry out an initial review of the works and will select those that may be consistent with the number to be published. When necessary, external specialists specializing in certain topics will be invited

The revisions will be carried out by members of the editorial team. The coordinator of each number will designate internal evaluators. Within a reasonable period of time from the receipt of the article, the editorial decision will be communicated, including the reasons why the manuscripts have been accepted, rejected or requested to be reviewed.

Illustration and appendices

As can be read in the template, the articles may contain tables, graphs or figures (images, maps or the like may be included in figures). All of them will be included in .jpg format. They should be numbered correlatively and inserted in the appropriate space within the article. It is essential that the text explain the importance of the graphic elements.

If the contribution includes appendices (these are counted as part of the length of the text) they should appear at the end of the article.
